"Creation comes from change, which so often means letting go of one thing so another can emerge. The hard part of it comes from the fear of letting go. A life grown too comfortable carries an investment in the status quo motivated by an irrational fear that without things continuing as they are happiness will not be possible in the future." So well said, Glenn. Welcome back! And since it's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day today as I'm writing this, here are some words of wisdom from him that came across my screen today:
"Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a better person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in."
Nice to have you back! Especially appreciate the perspective, writing as the expression of a personal journey—inner rather than outer gratification. After all, that's where the "juice" is. Even if no one reads what we write it not only feeds the soul, it's a contribution to the evolution of consciousness. And the content itself is a deposit into the noosphere, collective unconsciousness or Akashic Record, whatever we choose to call it. Fundamentally, expressions of consciousness (mind) are contributions to the evolving Spirit. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you David, and thanks for the reminder about the contribution to the noosphere. Just this morning I received a daily inspiration email from Michael Beckwith with the following the resonated strongly and gave me a sense of beautiful timing and intersection between what I wrote yesterday and this from Beckwith:
"We are here to grow, develop, and unfold to reflect the entire Cosmos as only we can. Often, the fear of success is the fear of the changes we will grow through as we embrace a higher order of our being, a higher dream, a greater vision, and the steps required to walk in that direction. So we must embrace the idea that we are going to change because the entire Universe is constantly expanding; and when we wake up and make our move, Providence steps in."

Love that MLK quote. Thank you for sharing.
