I’m Asking the Question: What Aligns with My Purpose?

Such questions are always important and meaningful to ponder, while also giving rise to a feeling of dark despair born of the shaking of the foundation upon which we’ve built our lives. Reconsidering everything that we’ve associated our identity with means that we begin to consider letting go of things that have been not just important to us, but foundational to our very being. And the darkness that we feel is directly related to the reconsideration of our identity.
